Task 9 – Review

Write an illustrated evaluation of your project following feedback. Reflect on the finished product against original intentions and your production skills from start to finish. Try to establish whether or not your finished product has met the client’s requirements. Your production log will be very useful in reviewing the product.
This is your opportunity to not only show that you have fully understood the process of working to the brief, but also that you can look forward to how you can use what you have learnt in the future.

Remember that you are trying to create 3D animation to a technical quality that reflects near-professional standards following industry practice, showing creativity and flair and working independently to professional expectations.

Review

For Unit 67 I think I did well with my 3D animation I found it a little challenging as I have never done anything much like it which was the reason why we did the e6 radio man animation before are main 3D animation. I found the Unit fun and new, I really enjoyed working with lightwave and I have picked up a lot of skills to use it, like how to set out the 3D animation and the timing in the animation along with the frames. I liked using two cameras as I can cover more ground with them and choose which of the two has bets bits and use them in the video. I also enjoyed editing the animation as I found it easy and natural to me, I liked the effects adobe premiere came with. If I was to come back to unit 67 with more time I would added a few more things to my animation as I find it lacking some action in it as to why I added 2 cameras to it to catch both sides of the animation making it feel lively . I would have the 6 from the logo to expand more with more columns expaning from it but they would have been too difficult and would have taken up more of my time. I would also have liked to add a third camera to capture more of the above as I have both cameras spiralling upwards of the six. I think I did well on my editing and sound this animation suiting for the music I chose for it.
